Ranch Rider Utility Vehicles was founded out of the necessity of providing a high-quality utility vehicle at a much more affordable price.

A few years back, we stopped by a local ATV dealership to look at purchasing a utility vehicle for our West Texas ranch. At the first dealership, we found the prices to be over $10,000, and the vehicle was capable of doing only 20 to 25 mph. As one would expect, crossing a couple thousand acres at 20 mph is a painfully long experience. We went to another dealership, assuming that the $10,999 amount hanging from the vehicle was the correct price. To our surprise, this was the base amount – the sale price for the vehicle I was looking at was $17,000. After adding tax, title, and setup fees, the glorified ATV was nearly $20,000. We continued to a third dealership, where the vehicle was more for racing than for working. Just by looking at the bed, we knew that there was no way the vehicle could handle more than a few bags of feed. Later, we learned that vehicles like this were also prone to roll-over accidents, which can cause injury. That was the last straw.

That brings us to now. Why can’t someone combine all the great attributes that those three vehicles have and sell them at an affordable price? For those who need vehicles to work on farms and ranches, payload and durability are needed. Hunters and outdoorsmen want the vehicle to be quiet, smooth, and strong. Those who simply want to play need the vehicle to be fast and stable. Because of that, we have worked to design a set of vehicles that feature all of these features at a fraction of the price, while sacrificing absolutely nothing.
